Never stop practising the language you're learning

We have already spoken about Radio Garden, which allows you to tune in to and listen to all sorts of radio stations from around the world, among them stations in Australia, in the UK, in India, in the US and in many other English-speaking countries. Today's post is about one radio station, The Times Radio.

You can listen in on your phone, on your laptop, on digital radio, through a smart speaker. And what's more, the radio station also offers podcasts on a varied number of subjects. As I type this message I'm looking at the available podcasts and they include:

  1. "The premier football podcast from The Times, with the finest writers reviewing and previewing all the action from the 2019/20 season."

  2. "After more than a decade in London, Danny Fortson returns to Silicon Valley to meet the techies trying to change the world - and make loads of money while doing it." And others.

Communication requires both listening and speaking, oral comprehension and oral expression. This is one way of practising oral comprehension.
